 BRIANA DEVOE WHITE

Briana DeVoe White is an artist and textile designer from Santa Fe, NM. Her namesake studio BRIANA DEVOE creates emotionally resonant works of art that are digitally adapted for production in the textile, apparel, and surface design industries. The studio now offers an independent line of eco-conscious wallpaper, fabric, and pillows. BRIANA DEVOE wallpaper and fabric designs have been featured in the Wall Street Journal Magazine, House & Home Magazine, Design Sponge, Martha Stewart Living, and the Birmingham Museum of Art exhibit “Barbie: Dreaming of a Female Future,” and are used by interior designers around the globe in residential and commercial projects.

HUES OF THE HIGH DESERT

Inspired by Briana’s childhood home in the high desert outside Santa Fe, Hues of the High Desert, pays homage to the enchanting, sometimes ghostly beauty of the high desert landscape, a landscape of sagebrush, tumbleweed, and Apache plume, of dust, flowering cactus, and vast blue skies. In this collection, line, color, image, and texture invoke the awe felt by a child growing up in that landscape. The muted palette nods to the nostalgia of Briana’s memory of those desert colors, those pale greens & grays, pinks & purples, that she brings to life in six dreamlike patterns offered on wallpaper & fabric. Hues of the High Desert wallpapers & fabrics are digitally printed in the USA with earth-friendly inks & materials. All wallpapers are offered on Class A clay-coated, FSC-certified paper & corresponding fabrics are available by the yard on Belgian oyster cotton/linen blend fabric. Pillows are printed as engineered flats to reduce fabric waste & digitally printed with low VOC, water-based pigment inks.
