Ale Bremer hails from the desert of northern Mexico, where her grandfather, a metallurgical engineer, awoke her interest and appreciation for metals and craftsmanship.

She moved to the U.S-Mexico border where she became a Metalsmith and earned a degree in Fine Arts, she has been designing and making jewelry since 2003. Ale moved to New York where she lived for 10 years. Afterward, she moved to Mexico City before finally settling in Santa Fe, New Mexico, following her love for the southwest

Ale is constantly seeking new ideas that captivate ideological contrasts. Spending most of her time in the studio, making everything by hand, every piece embodies artistry, skill, patience, and a personal touch which makes it unique. She works in fine and custom jewelry and objects of art through a collaborative process with her customers, fostering a deep connection between the maker and the wearer.

Embracing ancient jewelry making techniques and the timeless elegance of Mesoamerican art, as well as the influence of Taxco silversmith designs from the 40s, the result is a one of a kind piece with a story to tell. Her work is a nostalgic interpretation of the reflection of her Mexican culture.
